Alexa at Blo Blow Dry Bar by the Galleria in Bee Cave is amazing! I’ve been coming by to see her weekly when I need some help looking and feeling my best. She carefully washes my hair and really gets in there for a lovely head massage. She expertly blow dries my hair and styles it into curls that last me for days (honestly a week). I just returned to work after having a baby and really need help with caring for my hair. Coming to visit Alexa weekly saves me hours every morning and I can focus on my baby before work. Thank you, Alexa!

I visited this salon on a short trip to Austin. Alexiss was awesome. She recommended multiple hair products that were great for my hair. She was patient and took her time completing my service. My hair came out beautiful. I would definitely recommend and visit again when in the area.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but felt it was warranted for anyone looking to get an updo for a special occasion. I arrived on time for my appointment, but was asked to wait 20 minutes to get started (not great when you’re the host of an event). The makeup artist did a nice job on my eye makeup, then it all went downhill. I asked for a modern French twist with NO product application. Think sleek and shiny, with some loose ends. Nothing complicated whatsoever. The first stylist proceeded to rip and pull my hair with tiny elastic bands redoing it several times before asking a senior stylist for help. Not sure why you would need rubber bands for a French twist? Once the second stylist stepped in, my hair got teased and sprayed to oblivion. She asked me to trust the process…well that’s the last time I’ll be trusting anyone that says that. I left with about 20 pounds of hairspray, texturizer and what looked like a bridal updo from the 80s with ringlet face framing curls. I was practically in tears that night attempting to remove 700 pins and comb through the rats nest she created. I’ve washed my hair three times and can still feel the product residue from what they used in my hair. That will surely be my last visit to this place. Very disappointing for $85+ tip.

Blo Blow Dry Bar is fantastic – the staff is always nice and the hairstyles they create are great. Plus, their service is so efficient, making it easy to get in and out quickly. Highly recommend!
